Educational Reform

Stanley Olori conceived a transformative vision for educational reform in ONELGA. Every developed economy understands and appreciates that a strong educational foundation is essential for the long-term prosperity of the community. His strategy focuses on improving the quality of education at every level, from primary schools to higher institutions, ensuring that every child in ONELGA has access to excellent educational opportunities that will prepare them for a successful future. ONELGA is one of the few LGAs that have in Nigeria that has the privilege of hosting institutions from the primary to tertiary level. We will introduce policies and initiatives that incentivizes education at all levels, incentivizing the sector.

Infrastructure Improvement

Upgrading the infrastructure of schools across ONELGA is a strategic endeavor of the Olori-Led reform. There is indeed no lack of infrastructure in most government institutions, however, the quality and quantity of these infrastructure have been dilapidated, vandalized and overturned by bushes causing many schools lack basic amenities such as well-equipped classrooms, libraries, and science laboratories. To address this, Olori will prioritize investments in building and renovating school facilities to create safe, conducive learning environments. This includes not only physical infrastructure but also ensuring that schools have access to modern digital tools and technology, bridging the digital divide and preparing students for a tech-driven world.

Teacher Training and Professional Development

ONELGA mobilized training for teachers posted in ONELGA schools will be ensured. In addition to the employments in the education sector that will be ensured, Olori understands that the quality of education largely depends on the quality of teachers, thus already practicing teachers will receive. The plan is to establish continuous training programs to equip teachers with the latest pedagogical skills and knowledge, enabling them to deliver high-quality education. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among educators, Olori aims to improve teaching standards and ensure that students receive the best possible instruction.

Scholarships and Vocational Training Programs

To promote educational equity and empower all students, Olori Stanley will introduce new scholarships and vocational training initiatives powered by the government of ONELGA in addition to revamping existing/neglected ones. These programs are designed to support underprivileged students and provide them with access to education and skill-building opportunities. Scholarships will help remove financial barriers to education that is still experienced in many parts of the LGA, while vocational training will offer practical skills and hands-on experience, preparing students for the workforce and fostering entrepreneurship.
